This project was completed in October 2017 and was part 1 of three slip repairs that were put out for bids as one project (ATH-CR20/VAR Landslide Repairs). Bids were taken on August 8, 2017 and the Alan Stone Company was the low bidder at $344,334. If you look closely at these photographs, you can see two previous generations of piling attempting to fix this slip in the past. We take pride in doing it one time correctly. The 136’ long drilled pier wall had a final construction cost of $129,640 80% of which was paid for by the FHWA (Federal Highway Administration).
