CR 24- Harmony Road Slip Repair

The following three 2018 featured slip repairs were a result of severe storms and flooding rains during late February/early March of 2017.  This slip, located on Harmony Road, was approximately 34 feet long and produced damage to a 40 ft long culvert.  The slope reconstruction method (325 CY of rock) was used to repair this slip with a total project cost of $85,298.

 

CR 75- Coolville Ridge Road Slip Repair

As a result of severe storms and flooding rains during late February/early March 2017, Coolville Ridge Road developed a roadway slip that resulted in road surface loss, pavement depressions along the north bound lane and a slope failure to the northeastern side of the roadway.  The drilled shaft wall was constructed by the Alan Stone Company with a total project cost of $136,398, 75% of which was reimbursed by OEMA.

CR 37- Concord Church Road Slip Repair

As a result of severe storms and flooding rains during late February/early March 2017, Concord Church Road experienced a roadway slip that resulted in road surface loss, pavement depressions along the eastbound lane and slope failure to the north side of the roadway.  This slip repair was surveyed and designed by ACEO staff and constructed by the Alan Stone Company.  The total construction cost was $91,439, 75% of which was reimbursed by OEMA.

CR 15- Wood Road Bridge Replacement

The Wood Road bridge replacement project consisted of the installation of a 8′ x 4′ precast box culvert by Lindsay Precast and 100 LF guardrail by PDK construction.  The total construction cost was $116,929.

CR 10- Baker Road Bridge Replacement

This 2018 Baker Road bridge replacement was surveyed, designed and built by the ACEO- the piling, prestressed concrete beams, paving and guardrail were contracted out   A steel beam bridge was replaced with a prestressed concrete box beam bridge.  The total construction cost was $224,074, $42,000 of that was funded through a Transportation Improvement District Grant.

CR 73- Wolfe Bennett Road Motor Paving Project

Wolfe Bennett Road was paved using federal funding from the Eastern Federal Lands Access Program (EFLAP) with 20% local funds.  Construction Cost = $304,167 for 3.5 miles paving.

CR 1- Kimberly Road Paving Project

In 2018, Kimberly Road was paved using funds from a RUMA Settlement with American Electric Power.  Construction Cost = $245,271 for 2.6 miles paving.

CR 107- Burr Oak Road Paving Project

In 2018 the ACEO resurfaced a total of 7.1 miles of asphalt road that required significant repair prior to the asphalt overlay. Burr Oak Road was paved using federal funding from the Eastern Federal Lands Access Program (EFLAP) with 20% local funds.  This project was bid out to Nuko Paving with the total construction cost of $191,970 for 1.0 mile paving.
